Members of the Net Zero Energy Building Project team Principal Investigator Professor Tara Dasgupta, Emeritus Professor of Chemistry, Department of Chemistry, UWI; Louise Fletcher, Mechanical Engineer and Kevin Rodriguez, Project Coordinator participated in a workshop with architecture students at the Caribbean School of Architecture at the University of Technology (UTECH) on November 17, 2016.
The Team gave an update on the construction of Jamaica and the Caribbean’s first net zero energy building being constructed at The UWI, Mona.
The Caribbean School of Architecture is one of two schools in the Faculty of the Built Environment. The School, as an architectural training centre, is committed to the investigation of the role of architecture and architects within the social and economic realities of Jamaica, the Caribbean and the world.
